OLNEY RIVERFEST was held on Sunday 1st July 2018
Here are the Raft Race Results!
Building on the success of the last few years, Riverfest continued with the new, larger format. Great weather (again!), Duck Race, bands, food, stalls and 24 rafts!
We've kept the pre-event material below so you can see what the event contained.
This is a free to enter one day event, based around the River Great Ouse. It combines a Duck Race, an amateur Raft Race, plus craft, food and drink stalls and live bands.

What's on at the Riverside field?
We'll have a variety of stalls and rides. And we'll have a marquee with a band stage featuring music from 1.00pm to 7.00pm.

Here's provisional info on the music acts we've booked for the afternoon:
1:00 - 1:20pm: Trevor Aldred with his country rock classics.
1:30 - 2:00pm: Acoustic Soup are Kaye Brown and Ian Sharpe, one acoustic guitar and a stunning vocal makes for soulful sounds in a soup of acoustic splendour.
2:10 - 2:40pm: Hannah's Yard is a musical collective with the beautifully understated voice of 21 year old singer Hannah Layton Turner at its heart.
2:50 - 3:20pm: Mark Owen partners fantastic melodic songwriting with acoustic guitar and great vocals. He is always in demand because he's just so good.
3:35 - 4:15pm: Tinkers Lane are a six piece band who write original songs and deliver melodic sing-a-long tunes that warm the heart.
4:30 - 5:10pm: Taylor Smith are a three piece “fire in the belly” band who will have you dancing and punching the air in time to their tuneful original songs.
5:25 - 6:05pm: Candidates are an original band who would grace any Brit Pop stage, be ready to jump around to a blistering British sound.
6:20 - 7:00pm: The Reformers will finish the day off, a great live act that's destined to stand out from the crowd!

Parking is available at Emberton Park though note that vehicles attract an entry fee to the site. The people in the gate house can point you towards the Weir. Postcode MK46 5FJ.
Riverside field, South of Swimming Steps, Recreation Ground off East Street, Olney:
Subject to good weather leading up to the event and on the day, public parking will be available on the Recreation Ground football pitch adjacent to East Street, Olney. Head for MK46 4DW, follow signs for the East Street car park (the larger long stay car park on this map) and look out for the marshals. There is an entry fee of £1 per car.
Otherwise, Olney has various Public Car Parks which aren't far from the site, which is at the Eastern end of the Sports Ground - see this map.The nearest postcode to the site is MK46 4DW.
